There are four types of Iranian saffron that can be found in Iran or abroad:

1. Super Negin Saffron

2. Negin Saffron
Negin is another type of Iranian saffron and is considered to be the second-highest quality saffron available. Negin saffron is produced from grade one saffron, consisting of the red and best part of the saffron flower.

3. Sargol Saffron
Sargol, meaning "top of the flower" in English, consists of all red threads of the saffron flower, but the threads are shorter compared to Negin and Super Negin saffron types.

4. Pushal Saffron
Pushal is another type of Iranian saffron, which has red saffron threads as well as a bit of yellow saffron. It's important to note that there is nothing wrong with yellow saffron; it has simply changed color during the drying process of saffron.
